Cell phone industry faces legal tests

Gibb Brower, a 41-year-old, self-employed landscaper in San Diego, used a cell phone to help run his business from the road or on job sites for four years.
He says his cell phones - an analog Motorola flip phone and a digital Sony - caused the growth of two tumors and a surrounding cancer field on the right side of his head where he held the phone.
Brower, who is already more than a year into a predicted two-year life expectancy, has filed suit against Motorola, Sony and at least one carrier. The suit is still ongoing.
Brower says part of his remorse comes from using a cell phone against his own best judgement.
“It was easier logistically [to use a cell phone],” says Brower, who has gone through surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, and suffers from fatigue and short-term memory loss. “From day one, I was worried about contracting brain cancer because of earlier reports . . . Anything that can remotely give you a chance of cancer, I stay away from. But I was ured by the people I got the phone from that it was safe.” - network news

Nuclear war is more likely to give you cancer! Sticking your head in a microwave, an tripping the door switch and then turning it on is more likely to give you brain cancer. As for cell phone cancer, 0.003W is not enough energy. If you are worried, use an ear-piece and keep it 1′ or more away. But they did this threat with power lines, and after millions of $ spent on independent tests over a period of 20 years, they found that power lines do NOT cause cancer either!

o people, you are all going to get brain tumors from cell phones. I use them as little as possible. When the early cell phones came out in 1993, they were much bigger than they are now, my sister and I used to get headaches when we were on it for more than 15 minutes. They claim the phones now emit less radiation, but tell when any amount of radiation is good? Have you noticed more famous people are now getting brain tumors? Famous people tend to be on cell phones a lot. Coincidence?

I agree this is the most informative and convincing I have seen thus far. I hope if there is a problem (as I could swear it feels nausiating), the lid gets ripped off “fast”. I got rid of mine and am hoping the ones my brother got for my daughters against my will they will get rid of too. I know he did it so we can stay in touch and because he wishes them to have the best but he doesnt understand the intentsity and danger of greed. Animuslord, many, many things cause brain cancer. Yes, perhaps the Devil is at the cause of the use of it all. Who knows. I, personally like to minimize my risk as much as possible. It is a known fact that anything that causes scarification of tissue, can lead to tomurs and some of them may become malignant. Where have you been hiding out?? You should know this.
